Daring to re-think Governance practices?
An institution that drowns on lengthy workflows, that is slow to decide and that struggles on constant reaction, has its culture and competitiveness degraded over time and is working very hard in becoming defunct.
The perpetuation of last centuries practices on decision making is vicious in the form of the energy and resources that these workflows consume on a nowadays hyper-demanding World.
It hurts competitiveness and, throughout the Organization hierarchical ranks, ravages people’s energy in tasks that are rapidly rendered pointless on a very short term.
Trying to masquerade improvement by only addressing agenda management isn’t enough.
A deeper change is in order and it should always start at the top and aim at covering the end-to-end.
